My current F100 RL Vs Sid Team 09

I've discovered my Fox forks have suffered some stanchion damage (my own fault) and I'll need to replace the stanchion assembly (not sure of cost yet).
However, if the cost of this is high enough I may be tempted to replace the forks and get the 09 Sid Teams. They get good reviews and the are used on the Scale RC Team bike, anyone got them? How would they compare to my F100 RL's?

A touch lighter, a touch more adjustable (adjustable blow off force for the lockout, dual air, a new high speed daming circuit). Very good reviews.
Looking at about 180 quid for a new CSU for your forks.0 -
Thanks for the price info SS, serves me right for skimping on the fox service interval  for the sake of a £15 seal kit and a splash of oil.
Hmm, i've sourced the Sids for £380 which makes it an interesting choice.

The World Cup is not worth the extra over the Team, but the Team gets the better damper in respect of the base model.0

Blimey, just looked at that. The advert lists 'carbon power bulges' as the upgrade over the team! for £300 extra for blue paint and a few grams!!Scott Scale Custom

Are the stanchions really knackered then?0

There's a double groove on the inside of the leg by the brace, you can feel it and i'd say each one is 5mm wide. Grit ingress in the seals is my explanation ie seal failure due to running them for 1500 miles without a service. They are bad to the point of leaking oil throught the very small gap between the leg and seal (tenths of a mm).
I'll give mojo a call tomorrow to see what they say, but at least I know to be sitting down when they cough the price up!Scott Scale Custom

Just got off the phone from Mojo, I'm glad you prepped me for the £180 as the current rate is 'only' £120 for the 32's!
Ordered them and will then decide if I want to sell them and get the Sids while the new steerer is uncut or not.
Love the Fox's, but tempted by the 'new shineyness' of the Sids!!Scott Scale Custom
