Hi all
I been using spd's that i got off ebay with some lake shoes, think i paid about £35 for them both
The lake shoes must be the most uncomfortable shoes i have ever worn, i actually get pins an neadles in my feet after about 5miles an there not that tight on either
Can anyone point me in the direction of a nice comfy waterproof pair of shoes, oh an the other thing is that i aint the richest guy in the world so aint got loads to spend
What you guys putting on ya feet for a bike ride in mud an gravel tracks?

The only way you will find what fits your own feet is by trying different shoes on, the different makes all come in different shapes. Shimano shoes are slim ,Specialized shoes have contoured footbed and it goes on and on. What feels like a slipper to on my foot might feel like a mallet to someone else.
I am using Shimano MW80 winter boot for commuting every day and weekend off road rides, and shimano shoes fit me fine and have never leaked so far this winter.0 -
I'll have to go try some on as i do have quite wide feet, trip to the local bike shop it is then,

I've never got on with spuds. I tend to enjoy a good flat pedal and a nice grippy shoe like a nike, although not being waterproof isn't good, it's something i can ride in for hoursStart Weight 18st 13lbs March 2009

I wear Lake shoes and mine are specified as being for a wide foot and they are comfortable enough.0
