Hercules Rebuild

Hi,

I'm currently rebuilding a vintage Hercules Commuter. The original bike had a 3 speed Sturmey Archer rear hub. I'm wanting to single speed as I think fixie would be a bit too much of a challenge on my commute. I bought some cheap 700c wheels off ebay thinking that they may fit but have since realised that the rear drop outs have 110mm spacing. The 130mm rear hub on the new wheels wont fit.
The frame has a flex of 10-15mm so is not far from getting the axel into the dropouts. However, even if I removed some spacers on the hub, to get it in, the wheel would be too far over to the non-drive side maybe even touching the frame.

Anybody have any idea on how I could get the wheel to fit?

Thanks, Sean
