Fox Van R to RC2?

Regulars here will know that I have an Orange SubZero, which is fitted with Fox 36 Van R forks.
The forks are fine - as long as you keep the bike on the level or pointing downhill.
Now, I know that the SubZero is a predominantly a freeride bike and climbing isn't therefore going to be it's strongpoint - but the forks are a major headache if you even point the thing vaguely in the direction of up! Even fitting a firm spring and winding on about 50% preload to get the sag right, they bob like crazy when pedalling and are a major pain in the ass...
So, questions - is it possible to retro-fit the compression damping adjuster mechanism to upgrade the fork to RC2 spec?
Or, do I just ditch them and get a set of Lyrik Solo Airs? Which being a RockShoz tart, I'm severley tempted to do...

Im sure you could do it, considering the whole chassis is the same then it would just be a case of swapping out the internals, might be expensive buying the compression damper, you would need the whole damper assy not just the adjuster mechinism.
