Look.. I could do with some proper wheel building advice

For proper XC with a very strong and fit (not fat) 15 stoner, would I be better served by 36 spokes in a wheel rather than 32?

Does anyone here purposely choose 36 over 32 and why?

    makes very little difference.

    a poor wheel build will be a poor wheel build how ever many spokes it has.

    ok... but I presume CRC or Merlin is a proper wheelbuild.

    So, if I have the choice and the same builder be doing the building..

    what do you want? the wheel builder will tell you what he feels is right.

    I am about the same weight as you and i use both 32 and 36. and even both on one bike.
