Richmond Pk safe tonight?

Hi - Just wondering if anyone travelled home via Richmond park last night and whether they think it's safe to do so tonight. I'm concerned about icy roads rather than rampant stags! Took the main road route this morning, but would prefer to avoid it on the way home.

Thanks

It should be gritted, but risky in the dark...

I think it closes to traffic around 4.30, so ice will now have time to form. I personally don't do it and go round either up Queen's Road or through Richmond.
    FCN 2-4.

"What happens when the hammer goes down, kids?"
    "It stays down, Daddy."
    "Exactly."

If anyone's interested, RP was fine last night. No ice on the roads at all. I think the dry air meant no moisture therefore no ice. It was boody cold though :D !

Humidity is 80-100% at the moment so the air is anything but dry!

Well, it was still nice and safe in RP last night and this morning.

(note to self - read up on the old meteorology) :)
