Hong Kong - Thanks

Just a quick thanks to all those who passed on recommendations re my recent
Hong Kong trip, in particular Steve Potts.

I never realised that they were into Christmas in such a big way. DJ from Sam's
Tailors and a fake Rolex from the night market's and as for the Bird Market... how
bizarre is that grown men walking around with birds in cages.

I hope that you enjoyed the visit. How was the Langham? My wife and I went there for our Christmas lunch - very nice.

As for being into Christmas, it's largely for the expats and the shopping - any chance to sell you something! It's the same in Singapore - I once saw a poster in a shop window that said, "Remember, Christmas is a time for shopping".

The shop displays have already been changed for Chinese New Year, so Kung Hai Fat Choi...

The Hotel was very nice, if you ever get a chance do two things;

Try one of the Burgers on the Bar Snacks menu....... delicious
Check out the view from the gym on the 41st floor
