Making a hub louder..ah dear..

One of my mates has a newish rear wheel with an XT hub and for some reason i cant possibly see :roll: he wants it louder.
Im not too good on my hubs and cassettes yet so i couldnt realy answer but he said you can get slightly more expencive freehub bodies which you can swap with his XT one to make it louder.
Is this possible?
