Roof mounted carrier and 09 Meta 5

I have 2 thule proride 591s, however i have just ordered an 09 meta 5 and i`m worried that it won`t fit the carrier due to the positon of the shock pivots.

Has anyone got a bike with an awkwardly placed shock and uses a roof mounted carrier. If so which one. Pics would be good especially of a meta 5 on a 591 but i`m guessing its not possible.

Gonna nip to merlin with the rack and try tommorow anyway.

    I have carried my mates '08 Meta 5 on my Thule 591 carrier no prob.

    The 591clamps just in front of the Meta's lower shock mount.

    I`ll have a check tommorow at Merlin but I can`t see it being massively different from the 08. Fingers crossed :!:

    Tried today at Merlin and it fits fine. As Andy said clamps just above the suspension pivot.
