Focus TT Bikes

Am thinking of taking advantage of some of woggle's discounts and getting a TT bike 12 months earlier than planned. Considering either the Izalco chrono shimano (£1700 ish) or alternatively the 2008 tria with ally frame and a decent set of wheels. The chrono has entry level DT swiss hubs and rims, but a nice, no very tasty CF frame and FSA/Dura ace kit. The cheaper bike is compromised mostly with the wheelset, and of course an unfashionable aluminium alloy frame
However, the cheaper bike plus wheels would also mean I cold get a Tifosi Pista track bike as well....decision decision. Anyways, has anyone got any experience of the focus TT bikes that I listed (or any of them currently available). 've got a cayo expert road bike and love it, so I have no issue with Focus as a brand (and as a former alfa owner I know only too well that Italian does not necassarily mean a better ownership experience).

102Kgs, my cayo hasnt had any problems
I cant see anything on the site about weight limits.
The quintana roo caliente looks tasty too, as does the felt B12....0 -
If it were my money, I'd get the stonking deal on the Planet X Stealth Pro Carbon (1100ish, if they have your size in stock) and some Planet x deep section tubular wheels (82 front/101 rear at your size or find a nice 2nd hand disc) and put the rest of the money towards some wind tunnel time.
You'll end up with a really good looking bike, your flashy carbon frame, that was ridden in the tour de FRance by a certain Mr Cadel Evans, so should be plenty fast enough for the likes of you and me.
If you are serious about cutting down your times, the wind tunnel should probably come before the wheels....but thats up to you I guess.
EDIT to say it has also won the U23 Men's TT World Championship (rebadged) and also rebadged by the likes of Willier and Lapierre. More here http://tinyurl.com/8eyu5m0 -
Went for the Focus chrono with pro RC50 wheels, was about £580 less than a year ago as I got the 08 version. Like the planet X stuff, but they don't do a similar finance option which was important. plus (ifd this matters, not to me anyway) there are lots of planet x's about, havent seen one focus yet.0
