I wore a beard for sixteen years, but shaved it off when it went grey/white in my early forties, making me look like Methuselah's grandad. I still miss it on cold mornings.0

I usually grow a winter beard, not long usually just beyong stubble length, possibly psycholgical but I do find it keeps the chill off.

no, no NO!! beards are awful. your food gets stuck to them, you look like a dosser, they PUT years on you, people look at you strangely and the No. 1 reason to not have a beard?? Women hate them!! so if you're looking for a laydee.....forget the hairy face.0
