Howdy,

Just a quick question, do you know if there will be any road cycling this year on normal TV or Sky. If so, when and what channel?

It has been reported that ITV3 are going to be doing live coverage of the Tour de France this year. This not going to be for the odd special stage either. :D It is a pity that they haven't picked up the Giro or the Vuelta, as these help put the Tour into context.

There is always Eurosport, but you always have the danger of tennis overrunning. :x Eurosport is the place to watch the classics, the Giro, the Vuelta, and the World Championships.

The BBC will probably do recorded highlights of the Tour of Britain.

I don't know who is picking up the new city centre criterium series, but it just has to be televised.

The Tour of Britain was on ITV4 last. They did daily highlights, as opposed to one big roundup on the last day like the BBC used to do.

In the near future, we have:

    Tour Down Under (Sky Sports)
    Tour de Langkawi (Channel 4)
    Paris-Nice (Eurosport)

Then pretty much everything is on Eurosport until the Tour de France. ITV 4 sometimes shows delayed highlights (I mean delayed by weeks, not days) of the ASO classics.

There is the UCI's Calendar. I will check Eurosport on those dates. They do show quite a lot but as Sirius631 points out there is a good chance that you will miss the interesting parts of any stage because some people apparently like to watch others hitting a little furry ball backwards & forwards over a net. Very weird I know
