Mountain Biking and Bangor University

Hello,

I have applied for Bangor University for next year, although i know that it is near Snowdonia National Park and therefore has loads of mountains to bike around.

What sort of riding is there to be had within riding distance from the university campus?

    Erm to be honest, there isnt any decent riding within riding distance. its quite vast in that part of wales. your best bet would be to get a train to somewher like the climachx trails on a weekend or something.

    hi there, i'm going there in september this year, i found out there is a MTB club aswell and I think a road bike club too, i can't wait to get there. gonna take both my bikes. Have you visited the Uni yet?, i did before i applied.
    What are you applying for and when are you going to start?
    I'm gonna do Marine Biology.
