Not great for a DH bike (which I assume is what you want DH RIDER?).

I think it all boils down to what type of riding you do in the first place. Some styles of riding are suited to clipless, but others aren't. I ride mainly XC and i ride clipless all the time, loads better for climbing if you hit short burst hills where you can stay in a high gear and just power up the hill. But, as i say, that is my preference and may not be others.
Dan daren't but he did anyway!!

    Hey DH Rider,

Hae you thought about the shimano M647? slightly less than the Crankbrothers (about £20) and are good for Dh which I am guessing that's what you will use them for (from the name lol).

Or the M545 Freeride, I don't have any experience of either of the pedals you mention so cannot comment on them, although the Time pedals look a bit "budget" and the Crank Brothers do look nice!!

I have been using the Shimano M647 pedal for about a year for XC and single track trails , they are designed for DH. I also use M424 and M540 pedals but I would say I find the M647 is the better pedal for the rough stuff.

Time Freeride Z? That the pedal you mean?

I've got them, was riding on them today. Not as good as a flat pedal, but a pretty good compromise. Bit slippy in the wet. Ultra reliable.

Would buy again myself, but probably won't need to as they seem bombproof.
