Hi all.
RIght, well, it's about a week until my Bad Boy Rohloff arrives. Super excited. got a 14 mile commute and plenty of local trips now since I've got rid of second car i used for getting about. Stumpjumper FSR Comp isn't so cool on the fast roads.
So, locks...! I want to prevent anyone getting away with my bike. Once bitten and all that. So how about these two for starters.
13mm Chain and Squire SS50 Padlock (Elite Security)
or
Abus Granit Plus / Exteme (1.5kg & 3kg) (maybe a wire too to go with these)
Welcome your advice. don't mind the weight. It'll give me better training.... ;-)

I've got an ABUS city lock thingy which I got from Evans - the shorter one. It's pretty good, but then the bike I'm securing with it isn't that attractive to potential thieves.
And welcome!0 -

Hi, just use a cheap coil lock then send me your address !
Seriously, granit X plus 54, if you're using a rack you can get a great bracket to carry one http://www.abus.de/us/main.asp?ScreenLa ... 3318266249 got one on my bike, balanced up with a pannier.FCN 11, Hmmm0
