Does it take a bit of time to break in a bike?
I reaslise that the brakes need to bed in and also the forks but does that mean you shouldn't thrash it straight away?
Tis' my first reletively expensive brand new bike so dont want to ruin it straight away.

and then take it back for its first free service at 4-6 weeks."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Whenever ive had a new bike i always avoid the ruff stuff for the first 50 or so miles just to give the wheels time to bed in properly before i venture off road.
After that i just make sure everything is tight where it should be and that everything else is nicely lubed then im away, job done!!!0 -
