You been practising topiary today
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.
  • i'm having stew :D
  • I've no idea what nasi goreng is but if it has both mackrel and shrimps in it then I'll be staying well clear. Not sure what we're doing but we did a big shop yesterday so there's loads in, although a lot of it was eaten yesterday for a belated Christmas dinner!

In my final year at uni we had a roast every Sunday. There were 6 of us and we'd take it in turns to buy everything each week and then everyone would chip in peeling spuds etc. Worked out at out £1.20 each for everything.

if you have a morrisons nearby, they do gorgeous "extra tasty" spitroasted chickens, always a favourite of mine, throw in some frozen yorkies at 4mins & steam some veggies at 10-20 mins depending how much + 10 mins prep and you can easily be eating within an hour of buying it

Personally doing cheaper dinners at the moment so using some tesco value stewing steak with a packet of casserole mix, 2 onions & 2 carrots and cooking for 2.5 hours. Serve with leeks, brocolli & Yorkshires.

  • Don't be so lazy it's well worth it! We even used to completely strip all the meat off the bones, boil them up to make stock then do a really thick soup with any left over veg/meat/stuffing for lunch the day after.
