can any one help. Ive just got a truing jig but am finding that i cant apply the same amount of tension to the spokes on both sides of the front wheel with out causing a dishing problem. In order to keep my wheel centered i appear to need a lot more tension on the disc side spokes and this gives me the impression that the opposite spokes are a bit looser than ideal.any advice much appreciated as this is a decent wheel and i dont want to ruin it,thanks in advance for any replies...del.

that is correct the spokes do have different tensions.

have a read of sheldons wheel building pages.
