dont know the route but i am guessing it will go via the devils punch bowl and up gibbet hill. back when i was just a wee boy crawley wheelers used to do a hindhead and back reliabilty trial and it used this climb, rest of the route is just lumpy.
  • There is no set route to follow, you can go your own way. We will be giving out a suggested route guide on the day. Basically bullet point list of towns and villages on the way. If you stick with one of the groups you should be ok as most riders know where they are going.

The ride should not be too diificult if you pick a time that suits you. It is relatively flat apart for the last three miles, a long drag of a climb up to Hindhead.
Incidently, we are runing this in conjuction with the Crawley Wheelers.

    See you on the day.

    Regards

  • Will also be there on the 18th! How many people are you expecting this year?
  • We may have around 30, it all depends on the weather.

    See you there.

this ride should settle the argument i've been having with myself.
Do i return to the dark side and join the wheelers, or become a crawley scab and join horsham cycling?
