Whats the best price you can find for ortlieb front panniers?

I had kinda hoped they would be in the Edin Bikes sale, but no joy!

Best I can do is £60 from wiggle... Hmm!

    Err... Don't I sound lazy!

Is there a bike thing price comparison website I should know about?

Don't suppose you will find any amazingly cheap, they probably sell all they can make quite easily, and they don't launch new models every year. Google shopping is probably the best way of searching.

Thanks, just wanted to be sure that I wasn't about to spank sixty quid up the wall when I could do better! 8)
  • Sorry Tardie, but I think alfablue is correct, I have done a quick scan of the usual suspects and you are not going to find those panniers any cheaper unless you get lucky on eBay ( but at the present time even that is not showing anything ) Still, at least you know you are paying for quality.
    Start Weight: 128 kilos (20.2 st) (April 17th 2009)
    Current Weight:119 kilos (18.7 st) (June 18th 2009)
Target Weight: 92 kilos (14.5 st) (sometime mid-2010, hopefully sooner)

And on eBay they are very rare (I was watching for about a year with no joy) and are likely to cost even more as people tend to pay over the odds. People rarely sell them secondhand, for reasons that are obvious once you get some. Pay the price and know you have the best panniers known to man (or woman) and relax with your 5 year warranty 8)

I got my rears from Spa Cycles, and they were cheapest, fronts are £57.50 delivered. Great service from Spa Cycles too.
