New chainset and existing BB ?

I am replacing my chainset, its not worn out just a upgrade I thought I would treat myself too, as a result Im pretty sure the BB is fine.

If I am installing a new chainset would it be ok to use the existing BB ?

    As long as it is compatible, shouldn't be a problem, it's just cassette, chain and chain rings that it is advisable to change together and even then it's not always necessary if you change the chain before it stretches too much.
    It's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.
