Hi folks could anyone help
Problem. Ive just bought an orange crush and want to bring my old reliable big uns from the old bike so i brought custom 5 bolt rotors for them to suit the stroker trails that come on the orange but the mounting bolts rub on the front on the fork and the rear but not as bad on the disk mount
Any help would be much appreciated

pics or problem?
20mm hub? tried swapping the spacers on the hub about?"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Hi nicklouse,
I cant figure out how to insert photos but i'll describe as best i can. The parts are the big uns obviously, a fox vanilla r fork and stoker trail brakes. The place where the rotor attaches to the hub is a larger diameter which means the bolts are further away from the centre of the hub (QR not 20mm) the fork increases in size as it moves away from the QR and its here the mounting bolts foul.
I've tried swapping the bolts for the original ones fitted to the shimano hub (which are slimmer) and this is better but still not enough.

have a look in the FAQ's in the bikeradar area and you will see how to add images.
so it is the QR version of the big-un?
if you can not swap the ends arround Or if you have the wider (longer) end on the disc side already then it is new hubs/wheels.
BUT i do seem to remember Hope doing a countersunk disc with countersunk bolts for a similar problem some time ago. Talk to hope IF you want to go down that route."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

just check the ends as i know the 20mm ones on the bulb are and i think the big-un was similar.
But as the big-un is so old and i can just see from your small picsthe clearance issue is only ? on the extension for the brake mount or is it catching else where?
so it may be possible to relive some metal with a file. (I have no idea if there is any cavity in that area so if things leak or break tuff) But any modification to it would scrap any warrenty.
Like i mentioned talk to Hope about the countersunk rotors and bolts. ( or a local machine shop would could countersink the holes and provide the bolts. (doing it by hand is not an option as the steel is tough).
Or talk to MOJO about attacking it with a (lower) with a file.
have fun."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Thanks again nick,
Im going to check the hubs and if not try hope to countersink my rotors they custom made them anyway. i dont think ill contact MOJO im still waiting for the heavier spring for the fork that i ordered in early november.
