Roof Carriers (different question to previous post)

how do your spokes fare when travelling this way, obviously theres a bit of movement while travelling on the car, so would the spokes be at risk or am i concerned over nothing?

I've used several roof mounted carriers over the years with various bikes and had no problems, never heard of any either.
