Barron Frames - Stow Lincs

Hi All,
Does anyone know anything about Barron frames made in Stow in Lincolnshire? I recently purchased a Barron TT frame from the early eighties - I am very interested to hear anything regarding the frames as the one I have is beautifully made. I think it is 531 SL - quite an early frame. I would like to know if they had specific race colours or hear of other builds.
I have done a shameful thing with it though - made it into a single speed commuter and put stars and stripes bar tape on it....I guess it is better than it going to waste!
