i went and had a play on one. didnt like it very much to be honest, the bike feels very long i tried a medium frame at just a little under 6ft IIRC, i have a friend who said exactly the same about it as he was going to get one for his son and went for a comencal in the end,
defo not worth the bike of the year IMO
  • I love it because of its geometry. I like long top tubes. Kona, Voodoo, Balance, Airborne, Identiti Mr Hyde, Fisher....

Though there are some component choices I am not happy with. 445g wheels and a Deore rear hub on a bike like this????!!?? And why that horrible uncomfortable seat when Specialized make all those great body geometry seats?

And the Juicy 3SL brakes with organic pads on the Pro.. how are they an upgrade from the (superior IMO) Hayes Stroker Rydes with sintered pads (and split clamp levers) on the Comp?

Other than that I adore mine, especially having come from a Fisher. The geometry feels like an old friend rather than a new awkward one.
