Shorts are not good at this time of year, you need to protect your knees from the cold.0

If your after some 3/4 lengths there are some Endura Humvee's going on ebay for £33 - Cracking deal and apparently they're the dog's dangly's!0

look for Madison (M wear) shorts on CRC
got a pair £26.99 and they look and feel great, havent rode them yet but still
they come with a padded removable liner which is always a bonus0 -

I second the decision on Madison M: Wear shorts, certainly keep my bits warm! 8)0

Endura were my second choice, don't just ask us - check the reviews at the bottom of the CRC page; thats what they're there for! 8)0

I have the Endura Hummvee and the Singletrack 3/4 shorts, both top quality the hummvee's are slightly heavier other than that there a great set of shorts.0

thank guys/girls i think i might get a pair of the altura altitudes at £15 with iner liner you cant go wrong...can you?0

I just go out in 3/4 shorts i bought from next. Why spend loads on cycle specific shorts when normal ones do the job0

I use the Humvee 3/4 and think they're great. Hard wearing plenty of good pockets (with zips) and the liners also work well. Well worth the investment.0

I find the seams and cut of most non-specific shorts annoy 2-3 hours into a ride. I have a couple of pairs of "proper" shorts and one non-specific as backup. I pick from the bike shorts whenever possible though.0 -
ive just brought the alturas on ebay! i think it was a great buy cant wait to get in them and riding!0

I've always worn cycle shorts under baggies but I'm a recent convert to bib shorts with baggies on top. They're so much comfier to wear and keep your lower back nice and warm.0

i use cheap cargos that i got for about a fiver but am thinking about getting a decent pair of cycling shorts. But in the winter i wear my normal shorts with leggings underneath cos i wrecked my trackies when i tried biking in them and can't stand the thought of lycra
