I'm fitting TT bars to a standard road bike is there any set up things I might consider while doing so. I 've already put the bars on so ive got a comfortable low profile, my upper arms are more orless vertical and the resting pads are spaced so as not to restrict my breathing to much :?: :?: :?: :?
Still going at fifty! But for how mutch longer

I assume you mean clip on TT bars with drops. The main thing is 'can you control the bike in this position'. Are your knees clear of your elbows. They should not restrict your breathing at all. There is no gain that way.

My arms are forward from the shoulders but I find I get more power that way and am more comfortable. The pads are in the outer setting which puts my arm more or less straight viewed from above.
I am using Profile T2+ bars which are quite adjustable and I have been over 45mph on them (down hill I hasten to add).
