Epic 08, but what is Brain Fade?

Looking to grab a Spec' Epic 08 Comp. I already have a Stumpjumper Pro 05 so no points on my side for imagination. But I live in the middle east so have no access to Evans Cycles or anyone else for that matter.
My question is, what is 'brain fade' that folks are talking about? Seems to be particular to the Epic.
Would appreciate if someone could help.
