Ive got a 07 rockhopper, its been well used, and the forks are just starting to feel tired.
- The failed under warrenty a good way thought the first year (all damping/rebound went) so they have only done really one summer and a few other bits. Maybe 200miles of single track.
Basicaly wondering what cna be done in terms of serviceing. Or if i should just sell them on the bay and get some recons or something?

They are fairly simple to service and change the oil - look on SRAMs site for a service guide.0

Yes, but is it like that a service/oilchange will have the desired affect to bring them back to a servicable condition. Or will that be a case of good money (and time) after bad.
The lockout seams very weak now when i do use it, and generally the response is poor.
Does this sound like a 'change of oil' would put it back to rights? What the life expextancy?

Yes, a service is most likely to bring them back to feeling good. As long as the bushings don't need changing (which you would feel as looseness in the legs/sliders). They are designed to be user friendly, with o rings (if needed) easy to replace. Sounds like the oil has leaked away or is contaminated, so a strip, clean amd oil change should have them working like new.
I have had several years use out of some RS forks with just normal services.0 -
Right, ok. Thats cool then.
