I know Manitou do not have the best reputation but I am trying to get the weight down of my on-one and these are In the sale on CRC and are 500g less then the forks I am using.
Does anyone know what they are like and If they are any good?

They are meant to be a little better than earier Manitous, but from my own experience of 2 previous ,Manitou forks ,I`d say for the little extra weight get these instead:

For the sake of the a little extra weight I`d much rather have the reliability, seviceability, spares back up and performance of a Reba.
Manitou spares seem to be non existant,as do servicing agents.2006 Giant XTC

Why not go for a SID? Similar weight to the R7, I would imagine, and supposedly very good performane of the reviews are anything to go by."Melancholy is incompatible with bicycling." ~James E. Starrs0

Sids are a little out of my price range on this one, as I am also changing wheels and anything else that I think weighs to much. It's not a ornament, so ride It0
