helmet /bike cam options ?

not sure where to post this so apologies if in the wrong place.
I need some suggestions as to what are the best options for a camera and recording device for use on a bike.
I looked at the Archos 405 but by the time you have bought the PVR £68 camera £67.00 Capture lead £43 and various software A/V codecs £15.00 ea it adds up to one big rippoff frankly.
what other options are there ?

No need to buy the codecs, they are freely available online. Just google k Lite.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0
