Ministry of Sound Chill out mix - quite old but I have used it so often, I now know where the "climbs" and "sprints" are in the sequence.

  • Try:

I've said it before, and I'll say it again:

    "Shine" by the Rollins band.
    Anything by Rammstein

I am currently using a mix of sounds from last years trip to le mans, includes some for my old chap (Steve Miller Band) & some for one of my stupid friends (Rockstar) - these tracks I just sprint hoping the pain will take the music away.

Then chill on Prodigy, Stone Roses & Neds Atomic Dustbin :)

Avoid anything that's syncopated, or in 3/4 time. :)

Try the podrunner podcast too - you can select your BPM then (half it for your RPM, honestly!)

    +1 for podrunner
Making a cup of coffee is like making love to a beautiful woman. It's got to be hot. You've got to take your time. You've got to stir... gently and firmly. You've got to grind your beans until they squeak.
And then you put in the milk.

Wow - that's an idea that I had a few years ago and never got round to doing anything with - excellent! Podrunner home page.
  • Sufferfest podcasts. Awesome training sessions.

I think there was a list in another forum which gave a load of podcasts etc for training
  • Try some Brazilian Batucada

  • I'm liking Hybrid's most recent album "I Choose Noise". Very progressive and engaging.

CJ Bolland's "The Prophet" is a killer track to finish on. Has to be the original though - all the remixes suck fat ones.
The The - Waiting For Tomorrow
Excellent taste sir. Just bought my gf the new box set for crimbo. For some reason they've ditched the fantastic original artwork though and replaced the covers with half-arsed pics of CV.
