That truely very sad news, I hope with all the people helping they are able to identify him soon.

It has never occurred to me to carry ID when out on the bike, every once in a while i'll take a credit card but from now on I will always have ID.

    Sad news

I always take a credit card and my mobile with me. Makes getting a train, or letting someone know I'll be late, a lot easier...also gives me summut to do when I'm waiting for southwest trains 2 trains an hours service if I were to get two punctures in the same wheel in different places, not that this has ever happened to me of course

But they are also forms of ID, and my mo has the ICE numbers on it
    FCN:5, 8 & 9

Very sad news. My thoughts are with the family and friends that just may not know.
  • I spoke to the police to suggest that they tried the bike shops as Monoc bikes are pretty few & far between. I have one but have never seen anyone else with one.

Anyway, they said that they've now identified the man in question. V.sad news but at least now friends/family are aware.

And I'm following snooks advice with always taking a credit card on me...

Why not add to your mobile phone I.C.E (in case of an emergency) and then the number of family or friends you wish to be contacted if the worse ever happens.
