Has anyone needed to replace a Giant carbon fork - I'm being quoted £100 to replace the damaged one on my SCR2 - this seems steep as I can get a decent aftermarket upgrade fork for this price. Just wondered if anyone else had any experience of Giants "aftercare" as it would appear they are profiteering from their existing customers who inevitably fall off their bikes and damage parts!! Any comments welcome.

100 quid doesn't seem too much for a carbon fork to me have to say mate, especially one which says Giant on the side. Not bad!

A mate of mine paid £150 for his TCR replacement fork after a crash.

As already said - £100 for a carbon fork is reasonable, but if you would rather have a different brand for that money then its up to you. Can't really see what the issue is...

A carbon fork for my Wilier Izoard is £210 so £100 is dirt cheap.
