On-one replaced a faulty ultralight for me last autumn; they did it straight away by post for nowt (as I think they would say up there), but it was only a few weeks old. They're nice guys though, so still worth an email. Otherwise, Dinotte US can definitely do repairs - if you have an older model you could even get it upgraded to a brighter LED.
If you decide to send it somewhere, and you're thinking 'how the heck do I post this thing', try lots of tissue paper < empty toilet roll < envelope ;-)0 -
I have a 5w ultralight from a few years ago. 2006 I think. Whatever year they first became available.
Anyway, it is not working at the moment but I know why. The cable to the stupid pp3 battery clip is worn out and the pp3 clip itself is very corroded
So I'm going to put a new one on, get some new battery holders at the same time
Some time next year I will be upgrading the LED in it for a more modern and powerful one0 -
It would appear that on one do not expect to be the uk dealer for dinotte lights for very much longer.......

The 200L is the new version of the 5W - try and get it upgraded. I've had nothing but positive experiences with the customer service (direct from Dinotte) - they really stand by their products.
I'd contact Rob at Dinotte - see what he suggests.
