The 5w light on my electron lights does not appear to be working, i'm assuming it's the bulb thats gone.

Does anyone know how i get to the bulb to replace it?

Normally the front on the light screws off, ive got an old twin electron 5/10w lying about somewhere and thats how they come apart for bulb changing, thinks its about a 1/4 turn anti clockwise.

Cheers Stu, i will try that when i get home tonight.

Are the bulbs pretty standard ie. can i buy them in the likes of B&Q etc?

    Cheers
  • 6v Mr11 bulbs. Maplin, or any of those little old electrical shops hidden just off your local High Street.

10w/6v MR11 from Maplin is around £2.50, online may be different. This is one of the few things where Maplin's are cheap, was quoted £15 for the same from LBS
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.
