Just entering as well this week although have a mixed bunch of riders who managed to do the flat Man-B'pool last year with no problems but reckon with the climbs we'll entere the 54m rather than the 100m for our first attempt.0

I entered this ride a few weeks ago and was gonna post a seperate thread nearer the time, but I may as well strike whilst the iron is hot. I was gonna ride this on my own, but if anyone is willing to let me tag along with them or fancies a riding partner then just let me know it would be great to ride it with other forum users. Cheers Tony.0

Whats the South-East loop like ? ie from top of Crowdecote turn right and do anti-clockwise loop.
Have done sections of the Northern loop a few times including Saturday in the glorious sunshine (but went via Blaze Hill and Lamaload , then left at top of Crowdecote)
Looking forward to it, upto now have done Cheshire Cat full-distance and the Brian Robinson (formerly Kirklees Sportive).0 -

Its June...so shorts for me....
...and if you feel a bit cool, then pedal harder!!
..I commute everyday and have been in shorts since the begining of May.
That 90 mile club run yesterday has shown me I will need some more food to take...the last 20 I was running on empty and it wasnt pleasant :? :shock:0 -
looks like it might be abit damp now, typical!
I've tried to plot the route on bikehike but the map on the polkadot site is abit vague in places so use with caution
