Hi there,
My name is David, I'm 25 years old and getting my first mountain bike for Christmas from my fiancee. I'm more of a 4 wheel man but looking to get a bike to go riding down in the east lothian neck of the woods and also some biking holidays in the lake district next year.
All I know from my fiancee is that the bike is yellow and black and matches my car which is yellow and black detailing.
Looking forward to reading the advice on this forum.

Hi all,
Looks like my fiancee picked up a bargain for a bike, it is a Virage I think and my friend came over last night to fix the wheel and noticed how it looked as if it had never been used very much as everything looks like brand new, he gave the bike a full once over and declared it safe.
Only seven days till I get to see it!

Hi all,
Well got the bike on xmas day and was out yesterday having a bit of a laugh and ended up a bit sore, been a while since I've been on a bike about 20 years at least!! Spent the first hour in the local train station car park riding up and down, before moving onto cycle route number 1 where I came off and nearly ended up in a farmers field in musselburgh.
Went out again today with a aim to get to the village of newcraighall which I managed to get to with a few wee falls, but all in all picked the biking lark up again.
Planning a new years day cycle to the local retail park half a mile further so all in all a 4 mile round trip.
