I have spotted the Canyon Roadlite 6.0 as a good choice in terms of value for money, looks etc
I wonder if this has comfortable geometry (a term I dont fully understand - perhaps beeing more upright?) ,
I'm a 37year old with 8 months experience on hybrid and this is going to be my first road bike.

Canyon are known for their ultra light carbon frames, used in the peloton. I have never seen a review of their aluminium models and I don't know if you would have to get it direct from Germany or if they have a UK distributor.

If comfort is your priority, then I'd avoid a Canyon - like quite a few German brands, they are massively stiff.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
