probably fairly similar to be honest.

both can clog up fairly quick from what ive seen.
think the xc pro is slightly less heavy
  • Cinders are the newer version of the fire's, kinda developed from the fire so would have thought they are slightly better than the fires, but to be honest with in a couple of revoloutions of the wheel uin mud it turns into a mud slick anyways!!

i love my cinders for feel! although my back one is a little low now especially on the middle tread lumps but they perform very well!

XC Pro's are really not that good in mud at all, the tightish block pattern does tend to get clogged up quickly and doesnt clear very well until u hit some hardpack.

If u want a good winter/mud tire then Panaracer Trailrakers are the way to go, they drag quite alot on dry/hardpack surfaces but the grip they give in the wet/mud is amazingly good.
  • I found I got pinch punchers gallore with XC Pro's.

I swapped to Conti Verticals and they were way better in the mud and on roots. They break away in a really controlled way.
