Im 15 and a couple of days ago i built my first wheel from scratch. I looked at many sites and found thyis to be the most simple and easy to follow.

He hasn't done one on how to true it yet but he says he will shortly. :)

Had a quick read through, and a couple of points: front disc wheels often have different length spokes, and do need to be dished. Also need to make sure the lead and trail spokes are correct to resist disc torque and drive torque.

I learned from an article in C+ many moons ago. Have only built one wheel to completion, a rear casette, though but I know enough to correct any minor probs I might get with my wheels.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

I'l second the link to Sheldon Brown's guide, have a copy of it printed off and it helped me no end with my first build and I still refer to it now with regard to 'getting started' on a new build. Very detailled and clear guide.

Sheldons is the best I have seen, and the one I would always recommend.
