I need some fresh tyres for my hardtail. They need to cope with all year use and anything from general riding to racing. I have to ride on the road to get to some of my rides so nothing to sticky.

I have been looking at the Schwalbe little Alberts has anyone used these I would be interested to hear any experiances with them. Thanks

The Little Alberts should be good all-rounders:

They don't have the large volume of a bigger tyre but they are small and light. All Albert tires have SnakeSkin - a light and flexible sidewall layer that makes them resistant to scrubbing.
  • I'd stick a rampage on the front, not too sticky and very fast rolling for such an aggressive tyre. Excellent cornering attributes. On the back possibly a razer MX, very fast but also grippy.
