Garmin Edge 705 - are they good?

Hi All

I am about to buy an Edge 705 and am just looking for some assurance that its the right way to go. Is there a general view that they are worth the money and that they are good as a nav tool and bike computer?

Any views much appreciated before I do the dough!!

    It has its bugs (like the nav not really liking circular routes, it keeps suggesting shortcuts to get back where you started from...) but if mine got lost or stolen, I would buy another one immediately.
