A 1/8th chain will run fine on a 3/32 ring.

Yeah, I see no issues with it personally, only chain width. Asmlong as the tension is there it should cause no issues with jump or anything.

Nice to have a complete 3/32 rig though, maybe I am being a tart....It also gives me a complete chainset for another build!!!!!!

    Final version:

Note dog in fron of new chainset! Running 44/16 now - perfect for me!! Working that bit harder than with 48/18. I have a 16 fixed and a 16 single speed on the flip flop hub for now.

Better shot - Wilma, Queen of all she surveys still in shot.......She is a tart!

  • bike is ok, but love the dog :D
  • Looks nice! Good work that man!

And the dog looks like a much younger version of my crazy collie. Make sure to keep her occupied! Very cute.

Burying my tools as I work is her latest trick, touch of cleptomania - their minds are so active, it is not just knackering them out on a walk it is also about stimulating them! She is a darling though!!
She knows quite a few commands now, but is a bit selective about when she will bother to listen to you......! Currently teaching her to run alongside my mountain bike!!
