Hi All
Just got this old Ellis Briggs fixed wheel bike and would like to know a little more about it
I spoke to Ellis Briggs but they are sure they never built it but said the decals indicate it may have been re painted but Ellis Briggs in the 70s
It has campagnolo chainset and drop outs Normandy hubs, Weinmann rims and brakes
It has a number on the bb shell that looks like PF106 and also Nervex lugs
Any ideas?
It has got me stumped

Thanks bagpusscp but as I said in my post the bike was not built by Ellis Briggs but they think it may have been re-painted by them in the 70s and that is when the Ellis Briggs decals were put on.
I would be nice to know who made it because it is a beautiful frame with some lovely detailing.

I do not recognise the number prefix. This is always difficult. You could try posting a question on the CR site.{You will have to join} One of the buffs may know.bagpuss0

Apart from the number, only the patterned top of the seat stays and the scalloped top to the seat tube are the likely identifiers. Don't recall seeing stays like that before.d.j.
