new crankset just arrived from CRC but...
a) no crank cap in sight
and
b) no spacer it mentions for when fitting 560s (triple....which it is)

fitting it to 70mm shell so i thought maybe no spacer needed but adding up shell and two BB cups (@10.3mm) it looks like there's going to be space afterall.

Was i adviced correctly that they only do 1 hollowtech 2 system for both 68 and 70mm shells?

HT2 fit both sizes. You just need to get the correct BB bearing cups for your frame. They are usually sold separately.

there should be a preload cap with the cranks. and you should have aspacer with the cups for a 68mm shell.
