Cape wrath d27 tyre upgrade

can you reccomend a good winter tyre for my d27? i like wide tyres but how wide can i go with a cape wrath d27?

    More than a 2.2 won't really suit the frame in it's standard setup.

    Personally, I ride Continental CrossCountry's on mine (actualy the previous model year to the d27, but essentially the same), but those definately don't suit your taste for wide tires, I'm stuck between the panaracer Dart/Smoke combo and maxxis High Rollers for when using the narrow ones will just buckel my tire.

    ive sin some tires i like, kenda nevegal dtc 2.3, will they fit?

    They will fit on the rim, but most likely the rim will be too narrow to give the tyre a proper profile - I'd stick with a 2.1.
