Tyres....

Hi
So the price of Panaracer Cinders has gone up to £25, so this means £50 for a set of tyres which in my book is expensive! What are as good as these in all conditions (that means from thick mud to dry condition's to road use)? I know Panaracer do a cheaper version of the Cinder but they don't last 5 minutes. What are the Fire Xc Kevlars like, anyone used them??? Oh and it must be a 2.1 profile, as a 2.25 is a bit to big for my Maxlight.
Cheers

Seems expensive, but compared to people who buy 80 quid stems I would say tyres are bargains, great way to lose weight and increase performance!

it is important to spend as much as you can on tyres. it is often a mistake to plump for cheaper versions of tyres as dont forget, they are the only thing keeping you on the ground!!
as for 2.1 tyres, i like the maxxis high roller in 2.1 flavour, quite narrow to be honest but very light, grippy and excellent grip in most conitions.
i think they can be had for about 20 quid each last time i looked.0 -
Anyone know what Panaracer Fire Xc's are like???? As they're on merlin with 2 tubes and tape for £40 (2)0
