Orange five groupset upgrade

Hi,

I want to SLX up my five, I have never tackled a new groupset before and the figures are quite baffling to say the least, so I am not sure which to buy.

firstly, I dont know which front mech to buy an what size ?

secondly, which size BB and crankarm length ??

I think I am ok with the other stuff, I jsut cant place my order until I know what size I need.

Front mech should be a 31.8mm, top pull (I think the SLX is dual pull so no worries there), bottom swing (IIRC)

SLX, the BB is one length & you fit the spacers to get the correct spacing for 68mm or 73mm (all supplied)

Your current crank arms should have the size on the inside of the arms, although I'd hazard a guess at the standard size of 170mm.

To fit the SLX chainset you need the correct tools & if not already done the BB shell will need facing.
