Hi, just finished building my first full susser XC bike, never had an air shock before and found it to be loosing pressure when sat dormant for a few days, is this normal, do you have to keep pumping them up?
btw, it's a manitou 3 way swinger air 08 shock

How much air are we talking about? The act of checking the pressure will remove a little - I take it you mean more than this?0

well i'm running it at 175psi, left it for a week, jumped on it only to find it a bit too soft, when I put the pump back on it, it was showing around 80psi, that cant be right, can it?http://www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=12851595

i had the same problem a few weeks ago, after a few days the neg pressure was zero,
took my shock off, found the bottom half of the shock can had worked loose, took it apart gave it a clean put it back together, tightned it back up and it seems okay, must have been leaking from the top seal.
